Itinerary

  • Day 01: Guwahati–Krang Suri

    First day of your tour starts with the introduction with the Motorcycle which will be your best friend for this trip.

    Start your engine early morning and ride to Jowai “The Headquarter of Jayantia Hills”. (180 km / 5 Hours).

    The road to Jowai is a delight for every rider. You will witness the majestic view of the Umiam Lake on the way.

    Umiam Lake:

    The magnificent manmade lake, though artificially created it captivated the tourists with gentle ripples on the turquoise blue water. It is an idyllic picnic spot.

    Later reach Jowai and check into hotel / Guest House . After refreshment visit the Krang Suri Falls probably the most beautiful falls of Meghalaya. Most interesting part is one can walk through the falls and enjoy the water falling in front of you.

    Needed to descend few steps to reach the falls but it is worth to do it. Life Jackets are available on rent to swim in the crystal clear green water. Later return to hotel / Guest House . Evening at leisure.

    Dinner and overnight at Jowai

  • Day 02: Jowai–Shnogpdeng–Mawlynnong

    After breakfast ride to Shnogpdeng. (32 km / 1 hour)

    Shnongpdeng Village is located in Jaintia Hill district near Dawki in the state of Meghalaya, India. Umgot river is passes by the village which makes it attractive place to visit. The water of the river is absolutely crystal clear & one can easily see the bottom of the river. Boating, Cliff jumping, zip lining, scuba diving are available.

    Later continue your journey to Mawlynnong (45 km / 1 ½ Hour).

    Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India. Besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock.

    Reach Mawlynnong and trek to Amazing Living root bridge.
    To reach the Living Root Bridge one has to get down at Riwai village, few kilometers before Mawlynnong. The bridge is a 15-minute walk from there.

    Living Root Bridge:

    Living root bridges are a form of tree shaping common in the southern part of the Northeast Indian state of Meghalaya. They are handmade from the aerial roots of Rubber Fig Trees (Ficus elastica) by the Khasi and Jaintia peoples of the mountainous terrain along the southern part of the Shillong Plateau When human works closely with Nature a gem of a nature rises up.

  • Day 03: Mawlynnong–Cherrapunjee

    After breakfast ride to Cherrapunjee (90 km / 3 Hours)

    Today you will be riding to the wettest place on planet earth, so keep your rain wear ready as the rain in this region is purely unpredictable.
    Laid out along razor-like ridges of a high mountain wall, Cherrapunjee (known locally as Sohra) sits at the edge of the Himalayas, overlooking the pancake-flat plains of Bangladesh. The village was once feted as the wettest place on Earth because of its prodigious monsoon rainfall. The road from state capital Shillong passes through pretty scenery that becomes dramatic at the Dympep viewpoint, where a photogenic V-shape valley cuts deeply into the plateau.

    Reach Cherrapunjee and check into Hotel / Guest House.

    After refreshment visit Noh Kalikai falls, Mawsmai Cave, Dain Thlein Falls , Khrem Falls , Seven sister falls and other interested places of your choice.

    Visit local market and have some hot Momos.

    Dinner and overnight at Cherrapunjee.

  • Day 04: Cherrapunjee–Shillon–Guwahati (170 Km / 5 / 6 Hours)

    Today is the last day of your tour. First you will be riding to The state capital of Meghalaya “ Shillong” ( 70 km / 2 hours) Reach Shillong and visit Laitlum Canyon which is approximately 22 km / nearly 1 hour from the state capital Shillong. It is a must visit place for all nature lovers.
    Laitlum Perched in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. Laitlum translates “End of Hills” and it is exactly appears to be true to its name. You can see breathtaking gorges, clouds and steep winding stairways down to the lush green valley. There is no other better place than the Litlum canyons to witness the bird’s eye view of Shillong’s breathtaking surroundings.
    Later continue your journey to Guwahati. ( 100 km / 3 hours)

  • Tour Ends

    End of your Adventura Trip.

Inclusions : Accommodation on twin/ triple share on Bed & Breakfast basis during hotel stays; tents, porters, cooks and all meals on trekking days; all transfers and sightseeing by Taxi; jungle activities as per itinerary; naturalists, local guides; bottled water; light snacks on days of transfer; village visits; all applicable taxes.

  • Expenses incurred due to change in oil price, mishaps, landslide, strike, political unrest etc. In such case, extra will be charged as per actual which will be collected directly from the guest.
  • Any other expenses not mention in the cost inclusion head.
